Visit People's auditorium and Panda Exhibition Center. Then head to Jiefangbe, which stands in the most prosperous downtown of Chongqing is not only the symbol of civilization, but also the evidence for history of half century. Jiefangbe, or the People' s Liberation Monument, formerly known as the Monument of Victory in the War of Resistance, a 27.5 meter high structure, was renamed and had its new name inscribed by Liu Bocheng on October 1st, 1950. This drab clock tower is to celebrate the Communists' liberation of the city from seventy years of colonial and right-wing occupation. It is the Center of the city marked as Chongqing's commercial heart. It isolated by a broad, paved pedestrian square and glassy offices. The shopping square, completed at the end of 1997, is 400 meters from east to west, and 350 meters from north to south, covering an area of 24,400 square meters. Around the square there are more than 3,000 stores and shops of various kinds, with two dozen large malls and shopping centers, a dozen star-grade hotels, and over 300 establishments and offices such as banks, stock markets, postal and telecommunication services and places for entertainment.

Yangtze River Cruise: Visit Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Small Three Gorges or Shennong Stream. Overnight on the Cruise (B/L/D)
As the cruise ship enters the Qutang Gorge, though the shortest covering a distance of 8 kilometers, it is the most majestic and dangerous gorge among the Three. The great peaks pierce up the sky, sheer cliffs seem to squeeze your body from both sides, and the narrow "gates" of the waterway are only 50 meters wide in some parts. Afterwards come to Wu Gorge (45 km), well know with its beauty and seclusion. Visit Shennong Stream to explore the remains of the ancient plank road along the river, the mysterious ancient coffins hanging high on the cliff, wild monkeys running under the primitive bushes. Go sightseeing of the beautiful Small Three Gorges. Later go to Xiling Gorge (the longest, 66 kilometers), and famed with many shoals, turbulent waters and karst carves on both banks. In the late afternoon pass by the Fifth section of the Ship Gate of the Three Gorges Dam.

Yichang - Wuhan: Visit Three Gorges Dam, the largest of its kind in the world, pass by Xiling Gorge (B/L/D)
Visit the completed Three Gorges Dam. The Three Gorge Museum, showing us the history of its construction. The Dam’s working principle and many interesting knowledge. On the top of the Panzi Shan, look down the great project below your feet. Standing nearby the sluice gate, feel the forceful power of the river water.

Wuhan Jingdezhen: Visit Jingdezhen Ceramic History Museum. (B/L/D)
In the Jingdezhen Ceramic History Museum, visitors learn the history behind the city, famed for its ceramics. The museum houses not only ceramic artworks from different dynasties, which are of great value, but also ancient ceramic workshops. This is where visitors can learn the whole process of how ceramics were produced in the ancient times. Not only that, they can also have a go at making ceramics on their own.

Jingdezhen Wuyuan - Tunxi: Visit Wuyuan Village(B/L/D)
Wuyuan County is home to some of the best-preserved ancient architecture in China. Each of the numerous ancient buildings has a distinctive shape and structure. They emerge from among the emerald green mountains, clear rivers, green trees and the crisscrossing paths between the fields. Wuyuan's structures were built in 740 during the Tang Dynasty, its remoteness and inconvenient transportation protecting its villages' beauty from too many visitors. Thus the idyllic scene remained unsullied ... pure, clean brooks, seemingly delicate wooden buildings, unique bridges and, most precious of all, the tranquil lifestyle enjoyed by local people. Virtually every village has something special to offer, often some tiny but unique feature that can stop you in your tracks and positively beg to be photographed.

Tunxi Huangshan: Visit the magnificent mountain - Mt. Huangshan(B/L/D)
Of all the notable mountains in China, Mount Huangshan, to be found in the south of Anhui province, is probably the most famous. Originally known as Mt. Yishan it was renamed Mt. Huangshan in 747 AD in recognition of the legendary Huang Di, who was the reputed ancestor of the Chinese people and who made magic pills for immortality here. Wu yue is the collective name given to China's most important mountains, namely Mt. Taishan in Shandong Province, Mt. Huashan in Shaanxi Province, Mt. Hengshan in Shanxi Province, Mt. Songshan in Henan Province and Mt. Hengshan in Hunan Province. It is said that you won't want to visit any other mountains after seeing wu yue but you won't wish to see even wu yue after returning from Mt. Huangshan. This saying may give you some idea of the beauty and uniqueness of Mt. Huangshan. Together with the Yellow River, the Yangtze River and the Great Wall, Mt. Huangshan has become one of the great symbols of China.Mt. Huangshan can boast not only of its magnificence but also its abundant resources and great variety of zoological species, for which it has been listed as a World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site.

Huangshan HongcunNanping - Tunxi: Visit Ancient villages - Hongcun, Nanping(B/L/D)
Hong Cun Village of Yixian County, evolved in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, is located in a beautiful surrounding, with green hills around and clear streams winding through. The village, covering the territory of 30 hectares, has a great fame for her water-supplying system. The bird view of village's shape is like a resting water-buffalo. The running water flows in the winding ditches to every household, and is finally gathered in a little lake at the entrance of the village. The peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings present outsiders a piece of pleasing and tranquil picture of a typical country life in South China. Everyday hundreds of visitors are attracted to the village by its beautiful views and more than 140 well-preserved ancient houses, among which several magnificent clan halls and the celebrities' former residences are most attracting. Inside these ancient houses you can appreciate the splendid wood carvings on the beams and columns. After your visit, you will conclude that Hong Cun's major difference from other villages is that the well-preserved ancient houses get along harmoniously well with her beautiful surroundings. It was inscribed into the list of the World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. The most attracting part of Nanping Village is her 300 or more ancient residential houses and her amazing winding lanes. Strolling in the village, you'll be surprised to find how simple and old-fashioned the village is. Wherever you go, you'll see the well-preserved ancient houses with white walls and grey tiles. Inside the courtyard, your eyesight will be caught by the traditional ornaments of the household: stone-carved windows, wood-carved beams and columns. Outside the yard, walking along the stone-paved path, you will soon lose yourself in the maze-liked winding lanes. Traditional-styled houses, old-fashioned decorations inside and winding small lanes stringing every household of the whole village are the main features of Nanping, which is the reason why lots of traditional Chinese films, among them is Judou, an internationally renowned film, chose Nanping as scenes on location. So if you have a tour in Yixian County, Nanping village is another choice on your tour lists.
